WORSHIP AT BROOKHAVEN CHRISTIAN CHURCH

"O come, let us sing to the Lord;
let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into God’s presence with thanksgiving;
let us make a joyful noise…with songs of praise!”
Psalm 95:1-2

We want to welcome you to our service of worship!

At BCC, we strive to be a friendly church where all feel welcome. Please feel free to ask a question of a minister or anyone in our congregation. If you're watching online, we invite you to connect with us on our website by sending in a prayer request, signing up for our Weekly e-News, or emailing the church office. We want you to feel at home!

Worship is central to who we are at Brookhaven Christian Church.

At BCC, we worship in a variety of ways. We have in-person as well as live-streamed services each Sunday at 11 a.m. Typically, you'll find a combination of traditional and modern, as well as live and videoed elements in our services.  We also have a more casual Outdoor Worship gathering each Wednesday at 7 p.m. in our Prayer Garden (weather permitting). We encourage people of every age to serve by offering their gifts in worship.  Worship at BCC is built around scripture, prayer, music, and the celebration of the Lord's Supper.

The Lord's Supper

Through the weekly celebration of the Lord's Supper (Holy Communion) we remember God's great love offered to all in the person of Jesus Christ. The Communion Table, like our worship, is open to all who would come. It is Christ's table, not ours. All are welcome.

Baptism

BCC practices what is called Believer's Baptism; this is baptism by immersion. Baptism is an act of the Holy Spirit. If you have already been baptized or sprinkled our church does not require rebaptism. If you are feeling led to be baptized or are not satisfied with your previous baptism then we encourage you to talk with one of our ministers.

Joining the Church

Joining yourself to this faith community is an opportunity that is extended to all here at Brookhaven, whether you worship with us in-person or virtually. If you'd like more information about formally uniting with Brookhaven Christian Church, please contact one of our ministers.  We only ask one question of those who would join with us: “Do you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God, Savior and Lord?”
